Parenting has its own challenges – add a parental disability and sometimes those challenges can feel overwhelming.
invis-Ability can support and act as a sounding board for you to find your own parenting path.
Our lead in this field, Sue is a trustee for Disability, Pregnancy, and Parenthood international, having previously been a trustee for Disabled Parents Network. She has previously also worked for both at the National Centre for Disabled Parents, writing articles and books on parenting with disabilities. Sue also had the pleasure to work directly with parents, occupational therapists and midwives to overcome challenges parents faced. Her work took her to doulaing for families with disabilities and further her knowledge by studying Babycalm ™ and Toddlercalm.
