Here at invis-Ability we are a family, Family is the most important thing to all of our volunteers and as such we created a family feel to the organisation. We have created all our courses to be family involved as spending time together helps us all grow. Below are some of the courses we run. Please feel free to message us with any suggestions or courses you would like to see us run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baby Sign sessions <\/strong>– Coming Soon<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign Choir<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sign Choir is for both adults and children alike \u2013 all abilities are welcome and no previous knowledge is needed.  Our current choir age range is 2 years to adults. No singing is required!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sessions are open to all, irrespective of ability. We cover a range of genres and use old and new songs.  We use both BSL and SSE to make as accessible and fun for all.  We learn one song per session so anyone can join at any time or miss a session without worrying that they will miss an important part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We at invis-Ability pride ourselves in being a safe space for all \u2013 where everyone is valued. As such everyone has a voice in choices of songs and performance opportunities. We have been pleased to support the St Nicholas Community Center and Councillors by performing at the St Nicholas Day celebrations in 2019 and 2021, and also at the Mayor of Stevenage\u2019s (Cllr Sandra Barr) Supporting Ukraine Concert on 20th<\/sup> May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n

If you would like to invite our choir to perform or if you would like to start your own sign choir in your school please speak to one of the invis-Ability team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The invis-Ability Sign Choir<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We meet at St Nicholas Community Centre, Canterbury Way, Stevenage. Every other Friday 6.30 pm \u2013 7.30 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costs: The first session is FREE, then \u00a34 per person maximum \u00a38 per family group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
